The soleus is a muscle in our calf. Many people don’t know much about it, but we can often use this muscle in our daily work. It affects the thickness of the calf. If the soleus muscle is too thick, it will make people think your legs are thick. So how do you think the soleus muscle can be slimmed down? What are the methods to slim down the soleus muscle? Let’s go to the plastic surgery place and have a look!
The calf muscles are divided into gastrocnemius and soleus muscles. If you want your calves to look longer, you can train more soleus muscles. The soleus muscle is mostly composed of slow-twitch muscle fibers, and its growth potential for muscle hypertrophy is relatively weak. If the soleus muscle is thin, you don’t have to worry about turning into carrot legs.
How to slim down the soleus
Seated foot wrench
Sit on the floor with your feet straight and heels together, toes pointed upward. Inhale, use your right hand to pull the toes of your left foot toward your body without bending your knees. Focus your strength on your calf muscles. Hold for 6 seconds, then slowly exhale, release your toes, and return to a sitting position. Then switch sides and repeat.
Sitting Leg Wrench
Sit on the floor with your feet straight and heels together, toes pointed upward. Embrace your right thigh with your hands and fingers crossed, inhale, pull your thigh as close as possible to your chest, and hold it as close as possible for 6 seconds. The right toes are raised at 90 degrees to the ground. Exhale, slowly release the force, and return your right foot to the ground. Repeat on the other side.
Lunge and Lajin
Hold the wall with both hands, step forward with one leg (bend the front foot), step back with the other leg (straighten the back foot), stretch and tighten the calf of the back foot, and keep the heel from the ground. Hold for 15 to 30 seconds, rest and change other side. Do 15 to 30 times on each side.
